How to join
You sign up through the model registration form on Stripchat.com. It's free, and you need to be 18 or older with a valid government ID.
- Sign up with an email address and a stage name, then confirm your email.
- Complete your profile (country, body type, what you do in public and private shows) and set up country and state blocking. Everything on your profile is visible to viewers.
- Verify with a photo of yourself holding your ID. Approval can take up to 48 hours. Then go live.
How earning works on Stripchat
Stripchat is a token site. You can earn from:
- Tips in your public room, including an interactive tip menu of up to 15 items that viewers can pay for directly.
- Private shows, paid per minute at a rate you choose within Stripchat’s limits. You can decline any request.
- Spy (voyeur) viewers, who watch a private show at a lower per-minute rate without chatting.
- Cam2cam, a private show where you can see the viewer too.
- Group and ticket shows, one show for many paying viewers.
- Paid private messages, photo and video albums and a fan club subscription.
A token is worth around $0.05 to you, and the sign-up page advertises “up to 60% revenue share”. Headline percentages aren’t comparable between sites; see how cam sites pay.
Traffic for new performers
The sign-up page advertises a two-week site boost for new models, shown with a “New” tag near the top of the listings. Be online as much as you realistically can in those two weeks and build followers who get notified when you go live. After that, your position depends mainly on your earnings per hour and engagement. That’s where tools like goals and tip menus help.
Privacy and safety
- Block any country or state.
- Use a stage name, and a mask or wig if you like. Showing your face is optional.
- Tools to mute, kick and ban viewers, plus trusted moderators (“Knights”).

Stripchat’s broadcast panel is one of the most complete: goals, a show theme, the tip menu, toy connection with adjustable reactions, and bots for welcomes and thank-yous. Viewer statuses (grey, green, gold) show who has tokens. Your dashboard shows who hasn’t spent in a while, so you can invite them back to your next show. An offline message with your next show time helps regulars find you.
Payouts
Payouts run weekly on Tuesdays for the previous Monday–Sunday (bank wire and cheque may be paid every two weeks), with a choice of e-wallets (Paxum, CosmoPayment, Yoursafe), bank transfer (SEPA/ACH), crypto and more.
